Hello All,
I purchased first Miata in October. 04 MSM, low miles, stock, garaged. I believe it was a good find. This car is quickly becoming an obsession. I have been on the Mazda-Speed forum for some time but I've been researching on here a lot lately. It seems only right to sign up, de-noob, and express gratitude to those who have shared a wealth of information on the forums. As a noob it has definitely mitigated the trial and error of selecting parts and working on the car. After a few autocrosses and lot of driving I've had to up the ante a bit on power and handling. The Little Enchilada has unlocked some performance, albeit only from 4500-6500 RPM. With current hardware it seems a good tune would do a lot for this car. Horsepower bragging rights are not the objective, so that may be enough but if not I can look at other things down the road. Right now the objective is to autocross more, improve as a driver, possibly graduate to track in future, and build a car that is well-sorted and enjoyable to drive.

Welcome to the forum. Several of us are track rats. Maybe I'll see you at Road Atlanta sometime. Or Sebring or Daytona or Roebling Road...
