because there are other things besides a turbo that I'm interested in acquiring...such as a manual rack, RB 4-1 header, Torsen 3.9, etc...hell I got my hardtop from here...

toploc's installed on both sides. Got them + the striker kit for $200 shipped. Not bad.

yeah they're not very pretty to look at, but they will definitely allow me to sleep at night. My car lives outside so this was a must. I got lucky the carbon hardtop never got stolen.

they're the SP Induction brackets Chaser Aero gave me with the kevlar top. Not the better Rennenmetal ones. I don't think you want them:

just the side ones. I dunno, if you want them make me an offer and I'll ship em on my way to the gym Friday since the post office is on the way.

Dunno if I want them either, actually.

I'd give you $15 for them to try them out.

they don't tighten down the sides at all like OEM does, they just keep the top from flying off on the track I guess. I'll PM you.

I know that it can't pull the top down like a latch, but the holes are elongated for some adjustment, right? My roll bar won't fit with OEM side latches, I just want something to secure the top a little more tightly than just the front latches and frankensteins.

there's not much adjustment with these. One bolt goes in the top striker hole, and the other goes to the bottom left hole where the latch would be on the driver side. Bottom right for the passenger. It'll hold it down for sure and your rollbar will fit. What bar is it anyway? I wonder if the hard dog hardtop x-brace will fit with my setup, because that's what I want.

Kirk Racing. Similar pattern to the Hard Dog Hard Core bars. Dunno what kind of bar would fit with those Toplocs though.

I dunno, I think I'll email toploc and ask them because I see a bar in their install procedure http://www.thetoploc.com/how_to/how_to.htm

Buy strip of metal... have someone push down on hardtop, measure distance between holes. Drill metal... bolt on... done. If it is loose... drill another.

^ Hi? lol.

Update: new parts came in today from good-win

RB 4-1

Roadstersport test pipe and TDR heatshield

waiting for cross-flow rad, hoses, LC-1 and MSPNP. Going to be one hell of an install day soon.

If anyone is in need of OEM header, heatshield, and cat, let me know.

I had all day to myself and had a good night of sleep last night so I installed the header and removed all the PS crap. After driving belt-less for 2 months, finally removing the PS stuff actually made the steering AWESOME.

look at all the room now under the intake <3

The unnecessary crap:

With the RB intake/header/exhaust combo and test pipe, the engine absolutely SINGS above 4k. It's truly beautiful. Not ricey or too loud either. Just right. Like porridge.
