Hello, I was asked to introduce my self here, so here I go. My name is Spencer, I'm 17 going to be 18 in a month. I live in the San Fransisco Bay Area in a small city named Moraga. I've been learning about and working on cars since I was four. First car I did tuner type work on was a BMW 528i where I installed Brembo brakes koni suspension and a custom exhaust. pretty ameture but I have spent the past 3 years building a one off replica of a Lotus 11 replica from scratch. now my latest project is tuning a 91' Miata.
I purchased my Miata 2 months ago with 72000 miles for $2000. Seems like a great deal? Well it had some major issues. Had an ignition issue, tires were flat spotted from sitting in a repo lot for over a year, the body had many dents as well as the rear trunk lid had been the victim of an attempted break in, the exhaust was totally rotted out, the catalytic converter was damaged, and the brakes were shot. I since purchase have put Falken Ziex tires on, cross drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic brake pads, new headlight assemblies, a stainless steel OBV racing exhaust, repaired all the body work issues and repainted the car, put KYB AGX shocks teamed with Vogtland springs on, removed the catalyst from the catalytic converter (need to replace the assembly) , repaired the ignition system, put a new top on the car, converted from an automatic trans to a 5spd manual, and upgraded the sound system a bit.
I have allot of future projects in mind, everything from port matching do making fabricating custom braces, from a 6pt roll cage to new hand made aluminum canards, from making custom headlights to the biggest project of hopefully making a home brew type turbo system utilizing a DSM G16 turbo.
I look forward to talking to you all and maybe throw in some tech advice.

Welcome Spencer.
Now go to the user control panel and fill in your location. Then go over to the signature area and describe the year and particulars of what you're driving. It makes it way easier for folks to help you when you ask a question. But before you ask questions at least take a stab at the search function and see what's already been written; you might fine what you need there, or you might at least get enough good background information to ask a reasonably intellegent question. That takes care of the basics.
But whatever you do don't write anything as dumb as, "no problem i just like chattin rather than searchin", because it comes across like, "I'm too lazy to wipe my own *** cuz my mom always done it for me and I don't wash my ***** either cause my poodle Feefee died last month and so nows I don't have anybody to lick them clean for me".
If you can refrain from doing that, or something similar, you'll be fine.
