Default rugger - checking in

It looks like you guys have a good site here with some decent tech. I drove a stock '91 Miata for a couple of years before she really started to smoke. I then had to pack this into her:

Startup video (My buddy is not a redneck....he's a rocket scientist with no sense of style ):

This one gives a better idea of the sound of the car......and some crappy video:

YouTube - Miata SS

I have a Vortech that I'll be adding to the Miata soon. Here is my last project. It is a '40 Ford pickup on a '78 International chassis.

I'll see you guys around the forums.

Cheers

Interesting header piping. Are the swap kits also the same or is there room for them to be normal?

There are no kits for the small block chevy. The Ford powered kits do sneak past a modified K-member, but the Chevy block is a bit wider. I do not have the bender to make a header that will fit, and I'll be damned if I pay $1500 for a custom set. I'm going to rebuild the headers as log style when I put boost to it.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I joined here for the tech, and I fully understand that I'm a bit of a fish out of water. And, a guy can only take so much of the PC bs over at the .net site. Most of you seem power hungry, and I share that with you. I was hoping to find some of you with 300hp+ cars. There are probably some here, but I've not found them yet.

Just went through your build thread. You will fit in fine here. Loved the pwning thread of the guy throwing around the gay comments.

Alot of us are capable, but we've seen a few too many "my motor blew the **** out of itself" threads lately, so some of us have gone light on the boost lately.

Haha, great build tho, I like to see something unique.

Welcome!

That was a good day. I've never had a internet-tard apologize to me before.

I'll keep you guys posted when I start throwing boost at it. That is good to know that is why I'm not seeing the higher powered cars. I'm really concerned about my cooling right now, so I was looking for comparable power numbers so that I could mimic their cooling setup.
