Talking intro to my first miata turbo build!

Alright,
Ive had my 93 for a little over a year, pulled it out from a field, and got it to where it is now. PO had a liking for big chrome 17s and style bars, so thats what i started with. It isnt my daily, but i drive it enough you could consider it that.ill start off by saying i'm doing the best i can with a college budget!
Currently the car is on 15x8+15 traklite octanes, with hardtop, Paint is BMW space grey, custom rollbar, and all the usual bits and pieces. I pulled the car off the road last weekend to start my build, heres what it consists of,
*Rb25det stock turbo
*custom Manifold
*Custom Exhaust (my dad is a welder)
*Starion intercooler
*redtop rx7 injectors
*megasquirt v1 pnp
*Aem uego wideband 02
*prosport boost gauge
*aluminum rad
*Bmw variable tps
*ebay bov

Welcome to the forum. That car looks a lot better than when you started with it, although those tires look like they are trying to escape from the wheels in the autocross pics.

Update time! It is idling, everything is good to go. I still have to mod my mspnp to accept vtps sensor, and then tuning time!!
I also have to pick a muffler, 2.5 inch, any recomendations?

If you want bolt on, you can't go wrong with Artech and Enthuza. The huge Magnaflow muffler on custom piping is quite popular as well but requires some extra work on your end.

All intercooler piping, turbo manifold, downpipe, and exhaust are handmade, welding in is no problem!

As I understand it, the Mangnaflow is the preferred option. It's a bit heavy, but flows very well and won't wake the dead.

I don't know the part number, but the size is 5x11x22.

That muffler is what I have and it is QUIET! One of these days I need to take some video of a friend driving my car so I know what it sounds like out of the cockpit...

haha, well I already knew that from your original post. I'm asking what turbo the rb25 comes with, as I assume it is bigger than the nissan OEM sr20 t25 that I'm running , it's probably a t28 of some kind like came on the s14/s15?

Boiling your brake fluid! Or did you add insulation after these pics were taken?

Nothing insulated yet, haven't had time, anything specific you'd focus on??

Just add a simple metal heat shield and you'll be good to go. Car looks WAY better than the starting point. Well done . . . especially with the college budget.
