I was there (Dublin) b/c that's where the plane landed. Then went to Thomastown (the one in Co. Kilkenny) where my gf was living last year and hung out for a couple weeks. Drove around the southern coast from Cork to (almost) Galway too, doing the tourist thing. Gorgeous country you have there.

And yeah it was the Berry Bulmers stuff.

Kilkenny is pretty cool. I found the car scene there funny to say the least... driving around really slowly all night.

I managed to bullshit some R33 GTR owner into taking me out on some back roads. He was cool until he tried to rape me.

We stopped there to eat on the way to Kinsale, so I only saw the town center at night on a Monday or Tuesday...pretty uneventful to say the least. Kilkenny is a cool little town for sure, my gf used to go up there once in a while for a change of scenery since it was only 20min up the road from her place, and we hung out there for a day when I visited, did the castle tour, shiz like that. Thomastown is a kick *** village if you've not spent much time there, if you are into the slow village life that is. Kind of a hippy town with lots of artists and trad/folk musicians.
