I was there (Dublin) b/c that's where the plane landed. Then went to Thomastown (the one in Co. Kilkenny) where my gf was living last year and hung out for a couple weeks. Drove around the southern coast from Cork to (almost) Galway too, doing the tourist thing. Gorgeous country you have there.
And yeah it was the Berry Bulmers stuff.

We stopped there to eat on the way to Kinsale, so I only saw the town center at night on a Monday or Tuesday...pretty uneventful to say the least. Kilkenny is a cool little town for sure, my gf used to go up there once in a while for a change of scenery since it was only 20min up the road from her place, and we hung out there for a day when I visited, did the castle tour, shiz like that. Thomastown is a kick *** village if you've not spent much time there, if you are into the slow village life that is. Kind of a hippy town with lots of artists and trad/folk musicians.

I grew up in a village like tat.. well my parents place is way out in the country so we were able to do whatever the ---- we wanted..next time you're over you should head to a town called Baltimore way down west..

Don't think I've ever been to dingle.. you need to come back here so i can show you cork properly.. also.. I know a man from tipperary who lives on a mountain right on the border.. you can see three counties all at once.. I fell asleep iin his barn once covered in buckfast
