Although new here, have been into Miata's since 2003. My 96 was originally purchased to go Spec Miata Racing. It never quite made it since I still needed to put the safety gear in. Difficult since it turned into the daily driver, logging 140k under my ownership. It was rearended just before Christmas and totaled by insurance.

So, I recently purchased a 99 with an already installed FM / BEGI / Link turbo kit. Still sorting through what is on the car since it came with zero documentation. Additional upgrade list: Ft and Rr strut bars, SS Brake lines, 17in wheels.

In the near term, will be upgrading the stereo, installing gauges (Oil Temp, Oil Pres, Water Temp, WB O2, Fuel Pressure), and possibly a FM V-Maxx coilover kit and some Eibach roll bars. [Leftover parts from the previous car].

Thereafter, I need to swap to a non-open diff (anyone know of a low mileage, good value Torsen?).

Like most folks, that may not be the end (i.e. stand alone ECU, Alum Radiator, Big Brake kit, etc), but I'll have to see how cash flow is.

In the meantime, will be taking it Autocrossing (SSM) and like the previous car, daily driving it.

Thanks.

Scott

For a non-open diff, I would recommend you find the documentation on the OBX Torsen. It comes very highly recommended with the bolt kit from here.
