Hi everybody!
Iv'e been lurking here for a little while and decided to just join already. Im Lauren from Lancaster,Pennsylvania and I have a 99' 10th anniversary that needs lots of love. The previous owner didn't really know what he was doing (His words "I either put too much oil in it, or not enough oil in it"), so it's in pretty bad shape. The good news to all of that is, I get to start from scratch and build it however I damn well please. (Which could be good or bad, undecided on that one still). I bought it at the tail end of fall last year, so it's been sitting in a barn covered up since then. It was way too good of a deal to pass up though.

My other half runs around here somewhere too. We also have a 04 Mazdaspeed Miata with all sorts of goodies that's getting turned into a hillclimb car. we're effectively finding many ways to watch our money disappear at a rapid rate.

That's a funny story about the PO. I am dismayed but not surprised that there are people in our society who are baffled by the proper use of a dipstick, after all, somebody is voting Democrat every year.

Welcome to the forum. We look forward to seeing pics of the progress.

People like this guy are the people I hold responsible for the downfall of American society, cause I'm sure he's a voter, and it's clear that he's capable of making good decisions:

Aside from that, Welcome to the forum Lauren! I'm familiar with the Lancaster area. There are a few of us not too far from you. I'm planning on a meet up/ cruise in spring. Keep your eyes peeled!

The guy knew almost nothing about the car even though I believe he was the original owner. It worked to my advantage, got the 10ae with color matched hardtop for a song.

If you're cruising around Lancaster or so let us know, the msm is about to head back on the road shortly.
