Hi my name is VW_Morrell and im an alcoholic well that and a Miata n00b. I'm not much of a car forum poster. I just go to read build threads, how 2's, shop for parts... I'm on VW Vortex and have been a member since 2004 and i think i have less then 100 posts. I'm a die hard VW guy. I came across a 91 miata and desided to pick it up to use for solo2 and HPDE now i'm hooked. I will never get rid of my VW's but when it comes to the fun to cost ratio it's hard to beat the miata.
As of now I have it set up to run ES but the tuning bug is biting me so we will see. I have found i'm not good at the married life so i'll stick to car's!
Mod's- Koni's, FCM bump's, RB Fsway and end links, Spec stg1, Star spec's
2002 GTI 4motion 2lt 20v, GT3088, Willwoods, Pss9's, AEM WM.....Can't afford to sell so it sits in the garage and hasn't been driven in 6 months, well since i bought the miata
The 5 year long project and counting. 84 Rabbit GTI ABA P&P 16v, GT2860, O2J w/LSD, MS.... I'm begining to giving up hope on ever finishing. Its at a buddy's shop 6 hours away so not easy to get time to work on it.
As of now I have it set up to run ES but the tuning bug is biting me so we will see. I have found i'm not good at the married life so i'll stick to car's!

Like i said in my 1st post im not much of a forum poster. So whats been going on!? I moved to Killeen TX. 
And on to the miata! 
Now has Koni race struts, GC coil over's, rebuilt 1.6, Torsen, racing beat intake, wheels and some other junk... Its my daily and the na 1.6 isn't cutting it.
So on to the latest- I have 2 BP 1.8's one with a bad head 97 and one with a bad crank 94. Over the last few weeks i have gotten a little carried away and have ordered wisco 84mm 9:1, scat rods, ACT HD clutch, 550's, walbro 255, cheap SR20 2554 for now, Artech short runner mani, dp and 3inch w/no cat, a box full of gaskets and seals, bounary oil pump if it shows up(i cant get on the phone or to reply to my email)
Still need to figure out- intercooler setup, COP, AND MOST importantly how to make it run. Local tuner uses AEM EMS only
