HI EVERYBODY, I guess I'm the new guy!! I am Ethan, a photographer and car enthusiast. After 24 years of being an innocent little fairy boy, I'm about to plunge myself into the deep moist velvety depths of FORCED INDUCTION...which is why I'm here! I drive a Miata, 350Z, and GSXR at the moment but despite my Japanese vehicle fetish, I know more about Ford GTs than any other car. Currently a full time un-certified supercar mechanic, and part time retard. I'm biding my time as I wait for summer to get here, and with it...a Flyin Miata turbo kit! Which reminds me, if any of you have a FM 1.6 turbo kit for sale I'm all ears Thanks for reading guys, I love you. ALL OF YOU!!!

Don't bother building the 1.6. At the end of the day you have .... a built 1.6. 1.8 is much better, 1.8 VVT motor is muchmuch better.

Plus many more 1.8/1.8vvt motors were produced.

Edit: and how does one become an uncertified supercar mechanic?

I know the 1.6 isn't the best platform....but I have two 1.6 motors...so I'll just boost them until they die, and then get a new manifold and a few other misc parts and do the 1.8 swap
