I was going to do this post as a weirdly styled JDM poem but then I realised it's 3 in the morning; so I'll just apologise for whatever bad grammar (saying and after a semicolon) I might have and go on with it.

Firstly, Hey, hi.
I'm new to the forum and new to cars in general, so I'm here to exploit you for knowledge introduce myself.

I haven't bought a car yet, in fact I probably shouldn't be allowed to drive.... though I've got my eyes set on a 1.8 mk1 mx5 'cuz flippy lights and drifting (I watched Tokyo drift once) and I've been looking into working on it myself, looking at guides and that kinda stuff, I know even less than I thought I didn't; and so I come to you to ask: where should I begin to learn about engines? Specifically Mx5's, how everything in them works and (not that I'm going to tell my insurance company lmao) turbochargers/supporting mods.

Any help really would be appreciated, and in advance thanks to anyone that helps me <3
