Default De-noobing from VA beach

I thought I would de-noob myself since I haven't yet, My name is Josh I live in Chesapeake VA (Neighboring city of va beach). I am 19 but have been into cars for a good while. Not 10-30 yrs like some of you guys on here. I go to Advanced technology Institute (ATI) for welding. Great course btw for anyone interested in learning to weld.

My car.... I have always been into Miatas, even though everyone around me considers them chic cars. But never stopped me. I just bought my first miata a few weeks ago after finally selling my oz lancer. I got a 1994 miata. black with tan top, 5 speed of course. it has 127xxx miles. So far I love it.

My suspension however is old and bouncy like a boat. So my plan is to put all my money into susp. first. I am planning on buying some slightly used coilovers off of a member on here or miata.net or the fm coils and upgrade to the NB suspension. Then replace that pencil sized sway bar in the rear and front. I want some 15x8 og wheels. chrome ring with either black or gold spokes. The I'll get the FM butterfly brace and roll bar.

Any recommendations on my "plan" would be great!

After all that. My money will go towards power.... TURBO!

I am hoping this school will set me up with a kickass job.

Here is what I'm working with.

Thank you Braineak. Ive done some research on those xxr wheels and have read that a bunch of people hate on them. and they don't do much for autoxing. but, My friends boss has a set of black bbs basketweaves that I am going to look at later today. they are 15x6.5 I believe.

I'm sure they'd look equally as good on your car. Maybe even better polished. Your na is super clean. I come from a 240 background but I've enjoyed every mod and headache in this roadster. Best of luck to you and building it up!

I've got a soft spot for those wheels. They would look great with your black car. IMHO one of the best looking mesh wheels out there.

the cowl intake is pretty legit from what i've read. Have fun with her. I have a set of the nb 5 spoke wheels laying around. they're 15x6. Nothing dope. But they look pretty good on na's.

thanks mathew! I'm about ready to leave tidewater.

Thanks but no thanks Rick. I am just going to save up for the OG's I think, unless something better gets brought to my attention. Hopefully I'll see you around the Peake!

Painted my wheels last night with this stuff called Plasti-dip. Awesome stuff, no sanding or priming. just cleaning. if you don't like it then it literally peels off like a sticker. Bought it at home depot.

here is a picture
