Default New NA Owner

I've recently purchased an NA.

Previous owner built it for auto-x and track and was supercharged.
Pretty much got it without the supercharger but everything else is there for one.
ie. 650 injectors, fuel pump, racepak, large capacity intake mani, LS1 throttle body, COP, artech 3" catback, etc...

But looking to turbo my car as I'm personally not so keen on surperchargers

hi yall

What's running the 650cc injectors? Also that sounds like a good starting platform.

Just watched your other vid that you didn't link, and i see a racepak HUD in place of the oem cluster. That is awesome, looks like it's a well put together machine.

What else is on this thing? 1.6l it looks like?

Have you had any experience with miata's or engines in general? It would suck if you dont know **** and bought someones project. Them BOOM it explodes after your first timing belt change. Seeing as you joined back in sept im assuming you been reading for a while now and know your stuff. Welcome Fellow Noober

I do my own swaps, not a car noob.
Also, previous owner was meticulous with the work done on his car - spent the right money on the right things when the engine was being rebuilt, like solid lifter swaps.
I prolly will ask ton of electrical questions as I am weak on understanding the concept...

One thng that has been bothering me is the vented 323 gtx valve cover that keeps draining oil into catch can under hard drivings - obviously the vc is not baffled properly

n00b buys NA, throws 40lb gynormous intercooler in it.

This thread was bound to make us giggle.

Are the intercooler tubes supposed to go underneath the radiator, or over the top and through the hood?
