Default New From The Detroit Area

My name is from Tyler and I moved up to the Detroit area from Ohio about a year and a half ago. I was gifted a mint 2000 black on black Miata with 57k miles by my grandfather before he recently passed away. I have toyed with cars a bit in the past but have been mostly into bikes for the last five or six years. I have a few bikes including a 2011 Ducati 848 evo, a 2004 Honda CBR 600rr track bike, and a 1978 Honda CB550 Four that I am planning on building a cafe racer with. My daily driver is a 2013 Ford Fusion Ecoboost Titanium AWD.

My grandfather had always talked about adding a turbo and it is time for me to start planning the build. I started putting together a turbo setup on an old 95 Ford Probe that I had but it was unfortunately totaled just as all my parts were coming in.

I will be starting a build thread before too long once I start getting my plans finished and parts on order.

I have made some great friends on other forums in the past and hope that this will be no different.

Welcome from the Detroit area. Hopefully we can get some Miata meets going this summer.

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of information on the forum so always try to search before posting new questions in new threads. I hope you meet up with some locals from here.

Welcome to the site.
There are plenty of locals who have done the turbo thing, so if you ever need help you can reach out to any one of us.

Hey you seem level headed with genuine interest. Because this may be a more sentimental build, I'm interested in where you take this project.

Welcome to the forum and I look forward to the photos of your bikes, and progress on your build. I have a friend that may be relocating to Detroit area for work. If I visit him, I'd love to throw wrenches.
