Default Newish Miata in Florida

Hey guys just an intro. I have been stalking/lurkingthese forums for years and figure maybe some extra input could/would be welcome. I have a 99 10ae turbo miata setup, running a GT3071R, Meth Injection, and some rice add ons that I like in particular. I live in Saint Cloud, Florida, and am an elevator mechanic in all of Central Florida. I love to help people out so if you live nearby and need help with anything, if you cant fix it with the tools in my garage it cant be fixed period. I have some decent metal shop connections also if anyone needs any fab work. On a side note I can fix damn near anything electronic and even faster if you have a print. Its still a long road ahead, I am going to start building a new block next year and after a year or 2 hit the 600hp mark but it will take time to build a great block. Until then I am going to keep moving on, next is wheels/tires, then safety lol. And yes I gotta get my hood wrapped or something I am not ready for paint but the green stick out too much so I was thinking of wrapping it myself until I am ready.

Welcome to the site, glad you decided to introduce yourself. You can't tease us like this and not post any engine bay shots. I'm a sucker for 10AE's, had one a couple miatae ago but it died a horrible death, another victim of the 10AE Curse.

Any idea what kind of power the car is making now? What's it tuned on, Megasquirt? The current motor is built I assume?

You should have introduced yourself sooner. I would have given you a ride along on the track at Daytona last weekend.

Engine bay pics.

I promise pics this weekend, with work its now 10pm and I am going to bed and tomorrow we have our union meeting so tomorrow is out. I am totally bummed about the Daytona ride offer but its an awesome offer period even if late. It is a stock motor, thats why I will be building one, I do however plan on throwing a rod through this block in a blaze of glory, or atleast make an attempt at it. I have Hydra 2.7 which is...OK, I have been tweaking here and there but am going to pay for a good tune prob in the beginning of the year but its running decent now with very safe AFR's even in boost which is gently at 20psi LOL, I know I am going to detonate this block so its no biggie I already plan on a full build, this is completely a weekend/fun car and gets maybe 100 miles a year lol I have only 78k on it now. BUT I promise pics this weekend of the engine bay when I get some daylight time so you can see everything!

At 20psi on a 3071 you may not see much detonation because our stock rods automatically adjust to reduce compression ratio. They automatically get shorter.
