v8>turbo>sc>...................................... .................................................. ....>shitty *** 13b
There's a reason every other rx7 out there is either v8 swapped or broken. Some things are great in theory but shitty in everything but. The rx7 engine is one of them.

Welcome.

Its not the fixin being hard, its the fixin being a daily routine thing. My cousin had an rx7 and had to fix **** just about every day on that POS.

You want to be different? Build a BIG turbo setup. Like 40r setup with over 1000whp. Not too many of those around

How are those rocks you are smoking?

First off, a 20B will run you around 3k. Not that you could build a 1k whp miata for that much, but that's just for the engine/tranny/ecu. Its going to cost a shitload more to get it into the car and running. While I'll give you that a 1000hp miata is overkill, you could build yourself an extremely dependable, fun as **** car in the 250-300hp range for the kind of money you are talking about.

Secondly, 13000 rpm? Were you dropped on your head? 20Bs have a 2 piece eccentric shaft. Try revving that thing over 9k and you will have yourself a 3000 dollar paperweight when the e-shaft breaks in half, or when the motor spontaneously stops running from the apex seals being smashed against the rotor housings due to the vibration/flexing.

Edit: Sorry if I'm shitting on your parade. By all means, feel free to prove me wrong . Welcome to the forums.
