Default Noob from Spain, the pandereta country.

Hello, first of all english is not my first language so you dont have to write stupid comments about this. I'm here to learn everything i can from you guys.
So here is my incomplete setup:

-Journal bearing chinacharger, oil cooled, turbine wheel .60, compressor wheel .48, .60 Trim.
-Cx Racing FMIC 18x12x3"
-DIY exhaust manifold and downpipe(thread of fabrication cooming soon)
-Ebay bov

Running no boost, because the car is on stock ECU and injectors. Megasquirt parallel will be my choice

Hey Ismael welcome.

I am of Spanish decent (Asturias and Galicia).

I actually lived in El Berron, it's a small town in Asturias near Oviedo when I was a child.

Anyways, glad to have you aboard!

Then; let me give you another surprise:

Madrileño, criado en el barrio de Salamanca. Madridista a muerte. Hala Madrid!

Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard Ismael. Don't worry too much about hustler: el es mucha espuma y poco chocolate besides; he's a really nice guy.

Shoot me a pm if you need anything from these parts. BTW, my mom and sister are going to Spain on the 9th of this month.

Ismael; about your ECU selection; if I were you, I would seriously consider going with the Adpatronic. Not too much more money and more powerful.

Maybe my mom can take it to you and mail it from Madrid. Just a thought.

Adaptronic seems to be a better ecu for the 2001 (f****** vvt), but its price is double than the MS-II. I'm tempted to get an Adaptronic. BTW i'm saving money yet for whatever I'll purchase.

There is some way of obtaining male and female ecu connectors as a separated part? I want to make a boomslang and don't have to pay for a built one.

If you have better options in mind let me know. I'm open to suggestions.

(espero estar escribiendo correctamente en ingles y no metiendo la pata, todavia tengo que soltarme)

Joder, pues no quiero saber cuando te sueltes! Me tienes impresionado con tu dominio del idioma. (especialmente para ser español )

About the male and female connectors for your harness; I'll ask Travis to send me some extra ones with my own harness. Let me know how many you'll need and I'll send them to you by mail. They won't be here soon enough for my mom to take them with her.

About the price difference; what's going to be your final MSII cost? I think you're wrong about the Adaptronic being twice as much. Do you know many locals using the MSII?

Ismael -

Welcome aboard.

Out of curiosity, why did you put your inlet behind the radiator? Why not route it past the turbo and near the brake reservior? (Especially if you were to add a heat shield...)

Thank you for saving my life! If you could send me the connectors for build a boomslang i'll be very grateful. I suppose that I need the one which is in the ecu and in the other side the divided connectors that plugs into the ecu (I don't remember if the 01+ have divided connector). Tell me how much would cost and I'll transfer you the money via paypal.

About ecu cost.. Maybe i'm wrong. MS-II pre-built 400$ + shipping.. adaptronic.... near 1000$? 600 pounds on efi-parts.co.uk

Locals using MSII? This is Spain! They are only 4-5 miatas superchardged and 2-3 turboed. Supercharged runs powercard and the turbos are NA running MSpnp IIRC. Podrian contarse con los dedos de las manos las megasquirt que hay en España.

Thank you very much, Rafa.

It's not definitive. It's placed there because MAF don't allow me to put the air filter straight on the turbo inlet and the f****** black **** on the right don't allow me to turn it. Once I remove MAF I'll route it correctly.

I'll find out with Travis and let you know.

By the way; if you can't pm me yet and need to contact me anytime you can email me at: rfernandez@codetel.net.do

The price I just paid Travis (he sells them in the States and is a forum member) was around US$700.00 without the boomslang harness. Read some more about the ECU and ask any question you may need answers for in the "Adaptronic" section of this forum.

I think the is the most user friendly of the 2. You can't go wrong anyway because this forum is filled with MS knowledge. I just like the autotune feature of the Adaptronic (everyone in this forum knows that I am "mechanically challenged"
