Question hi im new

hey all

i currently have two toyota starlet gt's but am very close to selling one and getting an mx5 mk1.
i dont know how frowned upon it is here but i would want to turbo it and would be happy to work towards 300bhp
i basically want to ask you all some advise on what to aim for if i go ahead

i have rebuilt both the engines on the starlets with forged lumps running wiseco low compression pistons and scat rods along with the usual replacement of everything else. i would plan on doing this with the 5 as i have a heavy foot and cant be arsed with continually fixing stuff iether lol

i wanted to turbo the 1.8
it would be awesome if some people could enlighten me on all the good and bad points so i know what im walking into
cheers

miataTURBO.net smiles upon turbo usage.

We talk in WHP.

Read through the stickies.

Welcome, add location.

They put turbos on Miatas, huh, weird. Anybody here at MiataTurbo.net ever hear of that before?

Seriously, your in the right place. Check out the stickies, all the info you need is in them to boost a Miata. Like bond said put your location in your profile then any locals will know where your at.

Capitalize them (I)s, lazy posts die a horrible death around here.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum. Any pictures of your cars? Please post them

We can be bitchy here but only if you don't put fourth an honest effort to search for answers to your questions and follow the rules. It usually goes down hill fast if you have a bad attitude when we correct you on either of the above two. And yes, this is the best forum, there is more miata turbo info on here from the gurus than I will probably ever learn.
