Default

now I've read the stickies!! Ill add a bit more about me and my cars.

I work as an engineer for a medical company in Wiltshire, England. This is right next to Castle Combe racing circuit.
Bought a 1999 1.8 NB a year ago as a track car and have used it a handful of times. it keeps up with mostly everything in the corners but lacks on the straights.
The track car is currently standard engine with some form of Chinese Adjustable (on or off it seems) coilovers with toyo R888's GG compound. The tyres are awesome would highly recommend. The interior is stripped and fitted with cobra fixed seats, TRS harnesses and TR-Lane roll bar. Drives great but its proper harsh on out pot-holey British roads. Recently just won a m62 supercharger on eBay and hopefully it will turn up in the post soon. I'm hoping to document the install and show it off for the world to laugh it. My fabrication skills are solid but messy. Any advice on this is very welcome as I have no experience with boost. The ECU is to be a megasquirt 2 with a separate alternator control board and hoping to do the majority of tuning on the road. Haven’t thought about injectors or intercooling yet, I'm sure I'll have too at some point.

The import is a 1991 NA 1.6 with air con and is factory standard. It’s a nice clean car with only little rust and I hope to keep it that way.

Also the stickies above are quite entertaining.
Thanks
Ant
