hahaha... the wife sure looks pleased to be there. These women who tolerate our madness...
Kitty picture is missing.
Used the engine hoist to mount the bumper? A bit overkill, no? :P

Yeah, she loves to get her fatass up there and soak it all in. That picture was taken during the summer so its not like it was cold out. I am already as chubby as her, can't imagine being that furry and still wanting to be near something so warm on a hot day.

Some good news. Got some cool parts for christmas, Will post pics soon. Also, the gtx is up and running reliably and is back to DD status, yay!
Sold two of my 914 bodies so I have a bit of cash, so I think I am going to pick up the new MS3 Pro unit for my pro4wd!! Pictures to come soon but work shall be slow as it is cold and wet out most days and I am going off to alaska for a few months for work. However, when I get back I should be in a house with, at least, a two heated two car garage.

^ I think I was drunk last time I posted lol.
I am still in alaska but I have been busy hoarding parts. I actually picked up another pro4wd. The red one I originally got appears to have been in an accident so that wont do.
heres the new machine
wish mazda still made cool stuff.
picked up some more parts for my motor build though
tapper port
this is incase I decide to not build a mani. Its a cast t3 manifold from southamerica

Its a great handling car. I heard a good one about how these were the fwd miatas, so does that make mine the awd miata?
Ill post pics once I get my turbo motor in. Should be good for about 250-300awhp. I forsee the ms boxes I have giving me troubles though.

So whats happened since the motor melt down. Well I decided to just go ahead and get the thing running since my wife and I were seriously house shopping. So I swapped a sohc head I had sitting around on and its been doing great since. Did some paint work on a jdm bumper(much lighter and more spacious for all dat fmic to come).
paint work:
got the damn bumper installed and met up with a bunch of miata guys down in seattle when Kenjo of Garagestar came up for a visit:
bought a house so all my junk could be in one spot. Damn garage is a mess.
Got a new kitty, his name is Charles(aka charlie)
Bought a **** ton more parts (this isn't even the tip of the iceberg)
Lastly i broke my leg on Halloween and finally will be getting surgery on Wednesday the 20th. SO fml. (no pictures yet)

Also, I am going to be putting together a cheap motor with all the parts I have laying around.
I will shortly be purchacing a vvt motor for the head for one of my built motors but I plan to use the pistons.
So left over parts motor build will consist of the following:
Bp block with factory oil and coolant feeds. Factory mbsp
Cast crank
Gtx b6t rods
Vvt pistons
heavily decked bp26 head ( has intake port humps to increase port velocity and low end, thats my understandi g)
Exintake mod using bp26 cam
Ported vics intake mani, going to retain vics functionality.
Hybrid bp26 turbo with ford tbird ihi turbo
And an old hacked up cs downpipe
And a lightweight aasco flywheel.
My goal is to have some solid torque numbers and real quick spool, doing so with as much oem parts and cheaply as possible.
Thoughts?

The IHI will give you quick spool alright but is known for being an overall horrible turbo in turboford circles. What possesses you to try to use it?
Are b6t gtx rods much stronger than regular B6 or BP rods?

The gtx b6t rods are noticibly thicker than stock b6 and bp rods and many have claimed they can live at 300whp indefinitely.
Again, all these parts are items I accuired previously with other stuff or just super cheap.
