Well first things first; do a compression check and leakdown for engine health, then do a basic routine maintenance like timing belt, good oil, filter, etc. etc. if havent done yet... Best to start fresh at any build. After that is all checked out and well, then install a MS and maybe a wideband... from there you can even tune your stock N/A motor to be a wittle bit more efficient before boost.

Greddy does suck, but if I recall the BEGi shanghai kits dont come with engine management unless added on to the order.

IMO, FM parts are good, but they seem REALLY overpriced to me, so you might be able to piece together a nice clutch combo for less.

Also, if you behave and give wholesome conversational replies, you might ghost around here long enough to pick up a decent 2nd hand turbo kit for less.

It all comes down to tune and engine health before and during turbo upgrades.

you've been registered for two hours and I've already seen some pointless posts, one of which was a couple posts after I said my cat was going to die.

one week ban?

Because you didn't come here for knowledge, you came here to spam. At least that's what you've done so far.

Then you won't mind if I keep shitting up your thread here with inane statements that are not objectionable yet have no purpose.

emphasis added for:

you replied to the original post of an 1100-post long thread? I hope you took the time to read all the posts after that too. And based on your ability to make that post within 4 minutes of signing up, you're a speed reader.

and you came here for knowledge? we all can go back and read the part where you spammed your way to 15 posts to buy something. don't bullshit the one who has the power or I will simply refuse to put you out of your misery while the forum makes fun of you and posts pictures of vegetables in your honor.

IM sorry if i somehow am offending you guys or something, but like i said, i needed the 15 posts restriction thing.
Waiting until 2015 is a good idea. Be sure to watch the oil in that 1.6L like a hawk, even if it isn't leaking. I just had my 1.6L engine blow on me a couple of weeks ago, but now I have a 1.8L engine from a 99 w/42k miles that I am about to drop into the car. It's best to stay in stock form a while so you can gauge how reliable it will be before you boost it. Good luck.

You clearly cannot read well enough mister i have the power. I did state multiple times it was not to buy something. I even apologized for it and said i stopped. All was well and good again except for you and that other guy being somehow offended by something that was not offensive. Good job. Now eat a snickers. If i get banned i would like to thank penguin in the advice and the other guy i pmed if he ever answers me back for the advice i asked of him

Do yourself a favor and hit the logout button. Wait a few days, and try again. The next time you return, do not post, take a look around, get to know some of the members, and gradually post more and more as you get a feel for the place.

That is how it works. If you do not like it and try to do it your way, you can kiss your *** good bye.

Welcome. Hope you get the most out of your new found joy.

Precisely.

You spammed because you were entirely too lazy and immature to take a couple days to post 15 (actually, 14 once you created a meet and great thread explaining that you were here to find out about the entry level BeGi kit.) posts worth a ****. You're too impatient to wait a whopping two days to achieve your 15 posts without looking like a moron in the name of PMing someone so you can ask about a turbo kit that you may or may not buy in two years.

You'll never turbo your Miata. You don't have the patience or maturity.

Instead, you chose to act like you didn't know any better. You knew better. Then you REALLY knew better once you were called out. THEN you decided to argue like the petulant child you are.

You won't make friends here. Especially if you aren't willing to sexually please us. That's how we all got our knowledge and skills necessary to install turbos on our vehicles. We drank the sweet, sweet seed of the MiataTurbo God.

What everyone is trying to say in nicer terms is get the **** out of here. Delete your account and start a new one if you must with a PROPER introduction, but your name is now **** here. You've burned your bridge. You will not be liked, respected, and when you ask questions it will turn into a ****-fest full of eggplant.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and you botched that one royally. This isn't the forum for pandering to entitled kids who want everything handed to them RIGHT NOW.
