Default starting my turbo research

hey all. starting to seriously look into a turbo build for my 91 with 130,000 on the clock. it's going to be part of a major tear-down and rebuild for the entire car. should be a lot of fun. and probably a lot of broken bits.

anyhow, some of you already know me over on cr.net, where i pretty much douche around and contribute little. mostly i'll be lurking over here, and not contributing much, cuz i'm stoopid at turbos. probably ask some dumb questions. ("there are no stupid questions, only stupid people")

oh, and you'll notice that this is not my first post. or my second. those were belonging to a horrible thread i started about a free volvo turbo, maybe a year or more ago. you'll notice i've kept quiet and behaved myself since then. (huzzah....)

build goals: reliable 215+ whp for daily driver. sweet looking ride. clean as clean.
budget: "i'lllll neevvvverrr telllllll"
timeline: begins in a month or so, hope to be "finished" by spring.
location: Girdwood, Alaska (near Anchorage)

feel free to give me some freebie advice on turbo set-ups at this point. or just point me to the best (or at least most relevant) threads that will help me accomplish this.

thanks much folks
