Thought I would introduce myself, I'm Jake and from chicago, was looking into miatas a couple of years ago but got caught up with other cars. Since I joined this site back in 2010 I've gone through a couple 240s, a sti swapped bugeye and an evo but never was able to get attached to them like I was with my P11. A couple weeks ago I contacted Pat about his NB and ended up having it shipped to chicago. I don't plan on keeping much of his current setup but only time can tell. Anyways once I get my motor back from the machine shop I'll make a build thread but in the mean time here are some pictures of the past hoopties.

First car - 99 G20
This was where it all started, did a built DET swap with a gt2860rs.

While I really loved the G20, this was the state that it was in most of the time, torn apart in the garage:

240 No. 1:

240 No. 2&3 and the subaru:
We don't talk about these cars, lesson learned here, don't buy modded subarus or old nissans.

Evo rocking some 285/30/18s and KWs:

Day I sold the evo to some 18 year old kid:

Sad to say I do miss my evo and never got any really good shots of it, I was always paranoid that it was going to get stolen so I sold it, maybe one day I'll get another.

Plans for the miata is just to make a fun street car, going with a ARTech top mount with a GT2860RS, upgrade to MS3x and add a dash of Tial. We shall see how it all comes out.

Welcome to here!

I've never seen a more attractive G20.

QFT, that is a very nice looking G20.

Good luck with the new car!

Agreed, that g20 looks great. One with a stock sr20 sounds like a nice daily.

Buff out those hazy headlights asap, it would improve the look of your car a ton. Looks nice though.

What happened with your 240s and subaraus? My brother has a s14 with a sr20 swap and it's been dead reliable. He also has owned the car for a decade and was the 2nd owner, but hey.
