Default Tired of lurking

Hey guys.

Been lurking for weeks now. My name is John. I've had a handful of miatas in the last couple of years. My current car is a '94 brilliant black with a black hardtop. (looks just like Savington's car, but without the r-package lip)
The car is currently setup for CSP auto-x. It will be changed significantly, in time for track season.
I'm very undecided as what to do with my car. I had a MP62 w/TDR I/C that I was gonna install on my red '96, but I had to sell the blower, and I traded the red '96 for my black '94.
Now that I have the '94, I don't know if I should go blower, turbo, or itb. I realize that the obvious answer from this forum would be turbo, but I want some opinion, from experience, from guys that track turbo, sc, or n/a cars, to help me determine the best choice.
This car is primarily used on the track. I don't daily drive it. The suspension side of the spectrum is covered, so now I'm looking toward some real power.

I do a lot of research, in general, but just want some advice.

whatever you do, the 94 is a great base to start cramming a lot of boost into.

Welcome. It's always great to see another Texan on here.
If you want to make any kind of power, you'll have to go forced induction, not itbs.

Turbos are much better suited for the track than superchargers. Superchargers are better for autocross.

You mean it has the "smart *** punk behind the steering wheel" option too? :gay:
Welcome. And like Y8s says, w/o massive power and lots of drifting videos, you'll soon wear out your welcome.
Post some pics!

Yeah, I'm quite aware of the power part. I love n/a, but I can't stomach the costs of itb's and all motor on a miata. Honda is a different story.

More details on SC being better than turbos on the track, please.

lol, no.....well, only when I'm passing "hustler" on the track, but I might have a slight power advantage. :
I really need to get some pics of my car. Soon....

I have to give the guy credit, he's virtually silent here, so I suspect he's putting his car together.

i broke up with that hood rat ghetto piece of gnarly ***** trash i was dating so now we can finally get that one bedroom studio together you've always wanted. you know the one with the weight room that had all the mirrors, but when you flip a switch it turns into a dungeon room. the previous owners left all their sodomy toys so that coupled with your world record setting collection of ball gags we should be stocked. Its got that nice view overlooking cedar springs and i've got a knack for finding ---- lubes that just make the whole room smell nice. just be sure and bring those leopard print couches of yours. no man-on-man sex palace is complete without some fake animal fur to rest our sore buns on. call me

I went on vacation in the wine country, moving this weekend...but disaster literally struck. I have to go to Arkansas now, which really burns my *** because I planned on **** stomping a mud hole in johns *** in march at the track.

Nice to see john over here finally. He and I have a lot of track time together and we both drive with extreme prejudice. Hopefully our cars make similar or identical power because I'd love to get out there and do some tag team **** on some gt3's.

I may end up doing a marathon drivetrain swap and turbo install next weekend at my apartment since dad doesn't have his lift in yet.
