Hi my name is Lucas and I am a Noob...I mean well only a little bit I have been in a 12 step program for the last 8 years!
I run a 1990 with a 1.6L with some mild power adders including a K&N 57i intake kit (would reccomend the FIPK kit over this one) and a Magnaflow 2.25" wide open straight through exhaust. Rollin on 15" Konig Helium rims wrapped with Falken Azenis 205/50/15. Stiffness is provided by H&R race springs and Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks. Stopping is provided by the stock calipers matched with HPS or DTC30 compound hawk pads and powerslot slotted rotors. Bought the car stock a year ago and this is where its gone.
I took this photo of the Car about a month ago before I pulled it off the road for the Winter.
This gives nice detail on the fitmet of the Magnaflow catback, its subtle looking but sounds awesome. Its a direct fit and takes 20mins to put in.
This car is lowered 1.5" and ride on a 1" larger rim then stock and this is where my resonator ended up.
Yes this is my ignition, its an aircraft style ignition with push button start, its DIY and cost me about $30, feel free to PM me for details on this one
And just for sex appeal here is a shot of the rim and slotted rotor its the same on all four corners.
Ya its long winded and I am a JDM ricer fan boi and if you dont like it well

Not too bad, but you should have put it in the meet and greet section. I guess it'll do.
Put you location in your profile and info in your signature. The mob will be less hostile! Welcome aboard!!!

Almost forgot....
Since I originally bought the car as a surprise for my wife, it is an automatic. She did not really like the car since it is missing the "toys" (bluetooth, heated seats, steering wheel, nav, etc.)
I, on the other hand, love it. So, I'm keeping it as my play car. It is such a pure and fun car. Nevertheless, I am very interested in going FI on it. So, I'll be checking out the Turbo v. SC arguments.

I've been on here for a while but have never made a post. Now I need (not want!) to sell my miata... I've learned a lot from this forum, rebuilt an engine for low boost, swapped it in this winter break, and ran out of money to actually go turbo... Well I ran out of money because I bought a wrx but thats a different story...

It is unbelievable to me how bad you fail... but yet I find it endearing.
Every single post you make, all I can visualize is some horribly ugly mangy back-alley mutt sitting on the sidewalk giving huge brown pleading puppy-dog-eyes and you're saying "feed me turbo knowledge please"... "just a little bite"... "I promise I'll listen"... it's kinda cute, I can't help but like you.
