Ok im gonna try to get my automatic tps hooked up today. On the Auto pigtail, i have Red-Blk(TPS), blk-grn(gnd), grn-red(5vref), and red(idle sw?). And I guess Ill wire it to the 3 manual wires and leave the idle switch unhooked since i dun need it. Should come out like this:

red/blk to grn/wht to tps signal on megasquirt
blk/grn to blk/grn to ground
grn/red to red to 5vref on megasquirt
red wire will just be capped off

Am I missing anything?

you'll have to calibrate both megatune and megalogviewer when you're done.

Ok so i got both TPS and Boost control up and working. Set the boost duty cycle to 30 and got a steady 8/9psi to redline I almost got a boner when I drove it down the street because it is so cool! Anyway, thanks to everyone on this board who takes so much time to make things easier on guys like me.

P.S. Scotts wiring list on post #1 is correct except the pigtail I had used a red/blk wire instead for the tps signal. I also left the idle switch wire unused.

ha, i didnt get mine to work...voltage just increased by 1 everytime I hit the button for each....I dunno what I did, but i was sure the wiring was correct.

so i swapped back really fast just to drive the car one day, and havent since. so no chance to try again.

BTW, did you run the 5vref from the MS itself or from the AFM harness?

Cool, now see if closed loop boost works on your car. Go to
Advancded:Boost kpa targets1
Fill out the table 0,20,40,60,80,100 for TPS
and 100, 1000, 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000 for RPM
Then populate the entire kpa chart with 130

Don't touch your boost duty cycle targets.
Go out and romp on it. Try partial and full throttle runs. Datalog everything and come back. If the closed loop control works, you'll feel a boost cut. It will be obvious when you're driving and on the datalogs.

Mine seems to work, but I was told that the code is experimental.

ok im back for a sec before going to work late (fastest pizza delivery guy on the planet right here ) ... so i guess boost control isnt working after all, i must have screwed up somewhere, but most of the work is done. Ill pull out the squirt tonight and have a gander because i want it working for the drag strip tomorrow yo. My TPS problem was just one wire out of place, and im betting thats the case with the EBC. Ben Ill try closed loop as soon as I get it working and have a few minutes.
