Default Communications issue

Is it possible to fry your MS proc with eaytherm? I was trying to set up easy therm for the mazda clt sensor and I think I messed up my MS. I did not follow the directions in the software sticky correctly and now I cannot communicate with my MS. When I first did it I put in the values for each temperature and then saved the file then clicked burn to ecu. It said it was complete and to turn off my MS. Which i did and now when I turn on MS I cannot communicate. I tried the MS in my car and with my stim and neither work. I also switched com ports and that did nothing. So Does anyone have any ideas of what to do now?

When I try to download a new firmware from the app in the megasquirt directory I get an error saying it expects " and then gets "",. It tells me then to press any key to continue.
