Default 1.6 Mega Squirt

Some injector settings questions: The injector settings are a bit strange here.... anyone? I was expecting batch and 420cc.... I realize it could be synthesized using different inputs to produce a smoother running motor, just looking for clarification on what is going on.

I am hoping to get cracking on this tonight after work

MSPNP from braineack, installed per the docs with ait and jumper in the afm connector.

Just installed and started up. It runs very rich 9.3 at idle... Confirmed the correct sensor setup lsu 4.2 wb 0-5v , gm iat , stock coolant sensor.

What are the proper inputs for the stock injectors? It my be setup for the yellow densos...

Also do I need to do the vtps for it to run properly? I thought it could run ok on AIT and MAP alone

Tune attached... this is without the updated sensor settings.

Thanks much for the help

I did some digging and it looks like the injector settings are changed in this tune vs the stock tune. Can someone have a quick look and tell me if I swap out to my yellow denso injectors if the rest of the tune is compatible to run N/A right now?

I realize the obvious next step is to swap out the denso's for the stock injectors, it just that it is a bit counter intuitive that adding larger injectors would make the car run leaner.

set the req fuel to 6.0 and it idles at 13.0-13.5.... not sure why as I'm still on the stock 1.6 injectors. I will have to try and figure out more tomorrow and take some logs.

your injector setting in your original attachent seem fine. stock 1.6 is 212 CC and ends up with a req fuel at about 12.7

Do you have your vaccum line hooked up? Ive done that before when just taking one in and out during testing. runs stupid rick because it thinks your are running atmospheric pressure. Check that first.

what wideband are you using? exact model and brand. Was it calibrated(if aplicable) before installed? What is your Vac/Boost showing at idle?

ahh, that will do it. the 1.6 cranks pulleys are known to slip and throw timing marks off. You also need to be careful if it is a small nosed crank. those go bad and cause timing to be off.
