Ok I have a project car (early 1990, 1.6) that I am rebuilding complete with Turbo, IC etc. I would like to build and install a Mega Squirt for the experience and control. I have never run the car since I got it and I am just assuming it runs. Would I be better to set up everything on the turbo and IC etc and get it running first before doing the Mega thing or just jump in and do it all? I am concerned that if I do not have it running without Mega first, that I will never be able to fiqure out what is wrong if it does not start??? Whats your best advice?

I'd get the thing running as-is with out adding the turbo or MS first. Would be a bitch trying to trouble shoot a problem with the car that has nothing to do with the changes you are making.

Get it started on the stock ECU, makes troubleshooting easy. Then go to MS.
