Default Easy fix for AC compressor with a MSPNP gen1?

I've been running around without AC during stop and go traffic for a year now, mainly because I don't mind it. But with the longer commute to the new job through downtown I would like to be able to run it when coming to a stop.

Anyone know of an easy fix to get it working without going to the mspnp gen2? I really don't want to jack up the idle to 1200 just so it doesn't die coming to a stop.

I've seen threads where people plumbed in a solenoid that is activated by the ac clutch, so it bypasses the iac, and adds air in the manifold, raising the idle. Gonna try it myself, jet haven't gotten to it yet.

That could work. Thanks for some new search terms.

The following is the only real solution for AC idle on MS1:

I tried everything else before I did this. I do mean everything.

If you are handy with compiling/burning code, it's actually a really simple fix.
