Default 99 turbo issues

OK, I am new to tuning, and I have a few questions just to help guide me in the right directions. I have a 99 with the mspnp2 (mm9900), 550cc injectors, turbo w/Intercooler. Now, I've gotten the car to start, I've gotten the ignition timing to be what I am pretty sure is correct. But the issue is, my idle is at about 1800rpm, can't get it to come down any more. But even at 1800, I'm creating boost (about 2-3 psi) but it is enough to heat up my turbo to the point where it starts to glow red hot. So I can't run the car for very long. I just need a few ideas on what I could start checking to fix this issue. Any ideas would help.

In for interesting answers / solution. But I will hazard as guess: Timing. Even though you say you think it is correct.

How are you controlling idle? I think the answer to your problem is tuning.

Post msq and msl.

I was thinking the same, I just wanted to know if my mind was in the right place. But again, noob at all of this. I think I need to go back and check my base timing. But I don't really know what I could have missed.

Well, basically just the stock setup. The bleed screw is just about all I've got. I deleted maf to work with map, and that's all.

At least screenshot the timing table.

A vacuum leak and a lean fuel table with poor timing can be a bad thing even without throttle input.

What?
AFAIK only possible with SEVERELY retarded timing, if at all.

Not sure if

Troll-post?
