Is it set in stone or can things be ordered on it?

I want the 4 bar sensor with baro correction, that's why I ask. Or would I have to do that myself? I also plan on going COP and was wondering if it can be set for sequential fire. I've been lurking a lot here and don't recall seeing these questions.

I got mine with the "MapDaddy" 4 bar + baro sensor. I got it for the baro correction, not for the boost headroom. There was a difference in cost equivalent to the price of the MapDaddy. I don't remember what it was, but you can look it up on DIY's site.

I do not believe the MSI is capable of sequential ignition. The MSII is, but you'd have to build your own with limited support. NeoGen is building one for his car, but I'm not sure how far along he is.

Joe Perez volunteered to design a flip flop circuit that would work similar to sequential ignition. He just needs someone to send him some more COPs--his connectors are already filled with epoxy.

Looks like these guys nailed it-- 4bar and baro correction can be added for a bit extra, just shoot us an email and we can set it up. You're not missing much with sequential-- you can idle a bit leaner and get a bit better emissions/fuel economy at low speeds. Power will be the same when you get on it using either batch or sequential systems as both operate pretty much the same at anything other than low engine speeds.

Well this answered an unasked question I had... Heh. Now I can do COP without worrying about rewiring anything beyond the coils.

So how well does JBWeld hold studs to an aluminum valve cover?

You could use it to fire a "pseudo-COP" arrangement with four coils firing in pairs, provided your setup would also work with a stock Miata ECU. The MSPNP is designed for the factory spark outputs.
