Default Custom alternator controller

I tested one of my AC/CEL/battery light controller circuits on a DIYPNP I built for a friend today, adding alternator controlling functionality to it and it worked perfectly. The voltage was 14.3-14.4 at all times (programmable), except when the idle dipped (ie a sudden big load). Jason's circuit never worked for me, neither did the external regulator that Abe suggested. One of the nice things that I may also add, is to charge to a different voltage depending on the air temperature (just like the stock ECU).

I wish I had done this before I fitted the RX-7 alt on my car!

Well.... I can confirm the above, as the friend Rev is reffering to, is me .The alt control works just fine, except the dip at high loads.

We will open a new topic about the car as it is the first supercharged NBFL fitted with the DIYPNP (some turbocharged are about to be fitted too, in the next few weeks ).
