tuning boost level
hey guys,
finally got my vtps on and 460cc injectors so I am now ready to start tuning the car properly.
Ive been reading the megamanual but theres one thing I am having trouble understanding:
how do you determine how much boost to run?
my best guess is to look at the efficiency range of your turbo and base max boost off of that.
the main reason im asking is im not sure whether its better (as you get to the limit) to back off a little boost or a little timing.
if someone could shed some light on that id greatly appreciate even if you just tell me im off my head and am thinking in the wrong direction.

my turbo is good to like 30psi, my block is not, nor your injectors.
It'll make a good dela of torque down low, so I'd limit myself under ~220rwtq (dynojet) whatver boost level that acheives, but you'll struggle to pump out more than 200rwhp out of that turbo without dumping hot air.
