DIYPNP- the do it yourself Plug-n-play EMS for your car
#41
@FoundSoul: I have just ordert the DIYPNP for my turboed 91 Miata. I hobe, i will make it, because my fingers are all thumbs.
I´ve also ordert an IAT Sensor ....
Now ich will work against the rule: "Never change a running system!". In my car operates the Emanage Ultimate since two years.
The MS things are absolutly new for me. I hope, i can handle the DIYPNP ....
Is there a good instruction manuel for the solder work included?
Best Regards from Austria ....

We have an instruction manual online:
DIYPNP MegaSquirt by DIYAutoTune.com
And if anything's not clear from the manual, send us an email and we'll see if we can explain it better. Nur bitte frage uns nicht, zu auf Deutch es uberzetsen. Mein Deutch ist nicht gut genug.

Thank you for the link. I have also seen this instruktion, but i cant find a connection instruction for my 91 Miata. I mean a instruction, where or on which terminal pad and connector i have to solder the cable. Pictures would be very helpful.
And OK, "ich werde nicht in deutsch fragen". I hope my englisch is easy to understand.

We should make that happen Matt-- just as soon as you guys wrap up the 96/97 and the 99/00 guides that you're already working on in your spare time .
Then we need to wrap up the S5 RX7 guide, and that MX6 that's sitting out there.... lots to do, lots to do.

Will it be possible to set up one of the analog inputs for load sensing duties?
What i mean is, make it react to a sensing low load (lights, a/c, power steering, etc) which would raise idle speed to compensate for loads.
I know the MS1 doesn't do it (what i currently have) and closed loop catches it within a second or so.
I will be getting a new ecu (another miata) and am considering the diypnp as it is easier to breakout the input/output circuits.

We've just released a sequential upgrade for the DIYPNP - after wrapping up thorough testing on a Miata. It allows you to control 4 separate injector channels, and the upgrade module is only $38 with installation hardware.

We're way too fast for that . I can check though...
Let's see Sven... looks like you ordered on the 2nd, and it shipped on the 2nd. On it's way to Germany now. Under the circumstances, if you want to hit our sales dept up and ask to have a module shipped using Air Letter Mail instead of Express we'll do that on something small like this and it will get their fairly quick and cheap. Just without tracking.
