Default GM 3 Wire TPS wiring

Hi All,

I'm trying to help a friend with the wiring for a GM 3 wiring TPS using the following plug. Could anyone tell me which wires is GND, +5 and Signal Out?

Thanks so much..

The colors match the MS harnesses. Blue is signal, gray is VREF, black is ground.

That's a good tip.

I was going to say that, in general, it's easy to figure out analog TPSs with an ohmmeter. Two of the wires will have a constant resistance of typically around 10k regardless of shaft position. Those two are Vref (+5) and GND. To figure out which is which, use the third wire which will be the signal wire. Whichever of the first two wires gives ~0 ohms when closed and full resistance when opened (relative to the signal wire) is the GND wire. The Vref wire, relative to the signal wire, will be the opposite: full resistance when closed, and ~0 ohms when open.
