Ben I keep going over and over my wires every wire is right. I have done nothing be read and check and read and check every thing on there site and I have done it from step 1 down to the end a few times. I know my factory wiring is good because the car still runs and starts with the factory ecu and aem fic. also yes when i hook my DIYPNP in i unhook the aem fic and plug the jumper cable they give you in.

The difference in IGN is just I was looking at the car's plug, and DIY was looking at the DIYPNP plug. Same thing. There are 4 plugs on the DIYPNP adapterboard, but you only use 3.
Maybe you can find an error somewhere with my pinout (I would be very surprised if you did), but I know for sure the trigger wheel stuff is 100% correct.

What are you talking about with unplug the FIC and a jumper cable?

not saying anyone had an error i just didnt know if you had yours work like that but as far as the aem goes they give you a plug jumper so you dont have to undo all the wiring for the fic i had to hard wire it in no one makes a harness thats plug and play for it. this jumper is so you just unplug the harness and and plug the jumper in to run as stock.

Use the tooth logger and see if you're getting anything from either trigger wheel.

DIY names the connectors as 1, 2, and 3. The Mazda manual names them 2, 3 and 4. In any case, the crank and cam wires are in the middle connector (DIY: 2, Mazda: 3), Gray w/ Red stripe for the crank and gray w/ blue stripe for the cam.

Maybe that's your problem.

It's a new product and I believe most that start with the diypnp are using tunerstudio. Due to this fact you should expect problems. A lot of users aren't using tunerstudio and it isn't exactly the same as megatune.

diyautotune is very helpful, they have a big project they are working on, and you are looking for help the week before Christmas.

Go over instructions step by step, check every resistor (the colored stripes tell you the resistance of the resistor) make sure you didn't get a mislabeled bag. Check the direction of the diodes, check that your pullups are to the proper spot i.e. 5V or 12V, Are all of your ignition jumpers in place? If those are all correct, then remove all of your jumper wires and start over. Check to make sure any solder didn't bridge two connections.

If I didn't already have a diypnp I would tell you that you are correct and you should get rid of that POS diypnp and sell it to me cheap
