Default and it begins

just order to begin MS

MegaSquirt-I Programmable EFI System PCB3.0 - UnAssembled Kit
Lead Bending Tool
PCBv3 and v2.2 -- Pullup Resistors 'ModKit'
GM Open Element IAT Sensor with Pigtail

i will just leave the stock ecu in for fans and idle right now, i will add those to MS later after i get it in a working. i will just use the miata coolant temp sensor, do i need to cut the wire going to the ECU completly and run it to just MS, or can i tap it? i dont know if the stock ECU uses it or the coolant switch for idle controll. be prepared for a couple questions next week i have built 2 MS1 2.2 before, so i should be fine.

You gotta tap it. You only cut the spark and injectors.

Forget the lead bending tool, its useless.

I love the lead bending tool. One of my favorite things when building MSs.
