Default Win 64 bit problems?

I am looking for reports on success or failure of flashing firmware using 64 bit computers. As far as I can tell, there are no problems with XP or 7, but there are issues relating to choice.com with Vista 64.

We have a 7-64 laptop and some Vista-32 laptops at the shop. Jerry's fix seems to be working for 64 bit versions of Win 7. We don't have a Vista-64 laptop. So I'm asking for a little help.

Never had a problem with 7-64 when I helped a buddy a while back.

Vista is a problem in itself...I've never run it because of that. Sorry :\

Sounds like you need a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate (both 32 and 64 bit versions on one DVD).........

My laptop is Vista64 and I didn't have any issues with it when I reflashed my MS-I. I have the USB/serial adapter from DIYAutotune, laptop is a Dell Studio15.

No issues with Vista32, but that doesn't help you does it

I've got a 64 bit vista machine but for some reason it has the 32 bit OS on it. Nothing but problems. Going to ditch it for 7 as soon as possible.

I guess mine is the only problem machine now. I loaded them up and it gave me an error, then someone on here posted the choice files, then i used them and it gave me this, im just gonna use someone elses computer. It would be nice to fix it for me, but it sounds like im just a dumbass and probably inept at using my comp, but heres the pic.

Jerry has a potential Vista 64 patch. If anyone can try it out and let us know how it works, it would be appreciated. Once a good fix is found, we can roll it into the software package and prevent future trouble.

The file and procedure are here:
