Default Toasted coils

Well i finally got my car started today. after replacing the coils it fired up. I was in the process of timing the car, the engine stalled and like 5 seconds later the coils started cooking themselves.

99 1.8 Miata with stock coils.

heres some screenshots of my settings

Edit: Also i noticed that when i keyed the car on the coils were sending spark to the plugs is this normal?

Exactly what MS version are you using? It sounds like you're using the sort that should have spark output set to Going Low / Normal.
