Default How do I set up a shift light on my 96-97 Megasquirt PNP

Hey guys I need to know how to set up a shift light for my 96-97 Megasquirt PNP. Which pin do I tap into on the unused ten pin harness. I will be using a 12v 10mm LED light that comes on at 6200 RPM.

This link tells you more about how you can use a shift light.

You have to build a small circuit for it to work right I believe. The processor itself might be able to pull your shift light to ground but i have no idea what current its capable of controlling. If i was going to do this I would build the circuit for the relay switching and set it up appropriately.

I'm going to use the shift light circuit to activate the short runners in the intake...will my set-up go the same way?
