Time to sort this thing out...
So for the past year I have been running MS2 Standalone on my '99. I love it, but I have some issues like, high idle, and depending on outside temperature, it runs lean or rich out of my liking.
I uploaded some screen shots and a datalog of the car idling, along with my .msq
Please give me opinions or ideas of what changes I should be making to this.

Which table controls the fuel additions on startup? All 3? Or just Afterstart Enrichment Percentage?
As far as Fueling changes based on outside temperature difference, Is that simply Non Linear MAT Correction?

What exactly is non linear MAT correction for? On my table it appears to only change at about 100*? Is this where fuel gets added depending on MAT? The colder outside it is, the leaner my car runs...

Your car should have been tuned with those all at 100% (MAT correction that is) and only applied in the extremes where the built-in ideal gas law code starts to pull/add too much fuel.
Also reading the manual helps:

Sometimes I wonder about you guys. Look at your MAT correction table, then look at your statement; try to put two and two together.

my settings FWIW.
After 165*F CLT and 202 cycles, you are no longer in ASE or warm-up....if you are having temperature based issues after that, you need to fine tune the MAT table.
I dont see a problem on your log above.

So basically I should start with this:
Go from here:

As far as everything else...my values are roughly similar to yours Scott. The ASE% numbers on mine above 90* go down in % a lot lower than yours, but the Taper and Warmup Enrichment Curve numbers look pretty close.
If the new MAT correction is what you agree on, then I'll upload it in the morning and see what happens.
Thanks.

correct. I leave my MAT table zeroed out, and only had to tune it for heat-soaked hot start issues.
Looking at your current map, whenever you are between 60*F and 90*F AIT temps, you are gradually adding up to 9% more fuel.

I just changed my MAT table to this:
Attachment 19072
I didn't get a chance to VE Analyze yet, but I did start my car and watch it 3 seconds after startup to about 177*. It idles really rich, then it'll gradually lean out, but I never hit stioch, or rather my AFR targets. What do I modify to change the warmup fueling?

Here's my current warmup enrichment table. FYI, back when I used AbeFM's PNP board, I was using the standard .msq associated with the 3.0.3h firmware. I am still using that similar .msq, as I'm using the same firmware.
The deal is my MS2 standalone is basically an AbeFM MS2 and PNP board, but with all the circuits built inside 1 case and a whole big crazy mess on the proto board. All the changes that are made on the .msq now obviously differ from what once was, but I never changed a few of the tables like "Warmup Enrichment Curve". That being said, I was looking at my table and I noticed that it starts at -40*. Who the F decides that their Miata should be fired up on a day that's -40* out? 32*F is freezing point, but I feel that the table should start at 0*?
Scott, I know you're going to add your 2 cents, (which is what I'm looking/ hoping for!), but what values / degree increments are you guys using for your Warm Up Enrichments?

What are the chances I need to change my IAT correction curve for <50*f? I'm getting .5-1 points lean in cruise, not so much in load. Is this potentially an issue with "cold" heat-soak? It's usually 15.1:1 in cruise but in the 30's it's around 17:1 and 19:1 at idle in extreme cold.

I think you mean -40degC IS NOT EQUAL TO -40degF
What do the last 2 post have anything to do with my warm up Enrichments? NOTHING? How about everyone MS user that checks this thread please upload a screen shot of their warm up Enrichments?
Thanks.
