Default MS2 on Craigslist-What Should I Offer?

This is my first turbo project and everyone is screaming MS. It just seems intimidating, but I guess I'll give it a shot. Plus, they are expensive as the PNP, so I've been trying to figure out alternative routes.

Here is one I found on my local Craigs. The guy was using it for his 240. Is this something I can use on my 1990? What should I offer him, and what else will I need to get it on my car?

240sx Megasquirt ms2 ecu, 550cc injectors, rb20det turbo, t3/4 mani

Thanks guys!

just from the questions you're asking I know that you WILL NOT be able to pull this off, so the answer is NO don't get it.

you either get pnp or know what you're doing. one of the 2

On a used MegaSquirt of unknown origin, treat it as buying a project ECU. Just like buying someone else's project car, assume there is a good chance it may need repairs or that the mods on it may not meet your needs. Ask yourself if you're ready to do the tinkering with it before you take the plunge.
