Default TS and MLV licenses

So now that I have my MS, I am going to go ahead and get the TS license so I can use the auto tune feature and all of that good stuff. Is it worth it to go ahead and get the package with MLV? or just get the TS only one?

I registered both because I'm a Nice Guy™ and like to support authors who produce cool stuff and sell it at a reasonable price.

I find MLV quite helpful when diagnosing issues or fine tuning for certain conditions. However, the days of burning a log file on a tuning run, burning a new MSQ, burning a log file, etc. are over now that analyze live is available.

I got both because scatter plots are pretty and fun to play with.

it gets disabled again.

I bought them both because MLV is useful for diagnosing problems and peculiarities. I feel that TS is so useful to me that I have no problem buying both. I also tune and informally teach tuning (scary thought, me...teaching someone to tune) to a bunch of locals so I use both frequently.

On a related note, how do I migrate licenses? I bought a new computer and would like to keep the unused license activated.

I talked to Phil at EFI Anlytics and he said each license is good for 3 computers under one user I believe. I had the same question because I'm going to be replacing my laptop soon.

Of course I deleted the email so I don't have the specifics, but unused licenses (that have been activated)also reset after a period of time I think he said

I bought both just because I wanted to see what the GPS plot looked like with a scatter plot.

And you only need TS, the advanced features of MLV you get most people don't need.

Phil is a great guy and it is worth spending money on licenses for both programs. Generally if you go above the 3 installs you can email him and let him know and he is ok with it. From talking to him he said he has that the 3 limit just so some keys do not go viral and every one uses the same ones.

MLV now requires a license? Hmm, that's new.
Bought my TS one a year or two ago, and it was definitely worth every penny.
