Default MS2e MSM won't rev past 4000?

Finally got back to playing with the MS2 after a while and still have some issues. So, it's a Rev built MS2e, 3.3.0i firmware and basemap, stock injectors, MBC (so far) and the usual homemade enchilada mods.

It starts and idles pretty well, fans, alternator and AC also work pretty well. Drives well until about 4000 rpm and that's it. I saw that my timing was fixed at 10 degrees, sent some files to Rev and he had me disconnect my OE boost controller which took care of the Spark Advance but apparently wasn't the real problem.

Next, I noticed some strange settings in the Knock sensor that I think fixed that problem but now still won't rev up. Rev did tell me that sometimes it won't load the entire map? I have disabled Knock sensor and Boost control but no change. Doesn't seem like a misfire but just really falls flat at 4K rpm. AFR seems rich but is it rich enough to cause it run this bad? Also, car runs perfectly on stock ECU.

Here's my latest tune and datalog, hope I'm just missing something simple;

Rev limit is 7200, overboost at 170 kpa. Logs show 125. Lauch control is off too.

rev limit is not set to progressive or coolant based right?
what boost are you actually hitting? or does it cut even in vacuum?

Timing is set correctly? Did you adjust pots any? On my recent 99 the pots were so far off that it would not rev above 3500rpms.

Rev limit set to Normal. Noob stole the boost gauge line for the MS2 but it was set at 9psi with stock ecu and doesn't cut in vacuum. In fact, runs really nice up to 4K. Guess I need to put the gauge back online just to be sure.

No pots on Reverant's MS2 that I know of. Base timing was set.

How rich is rich at 4k? Just curious.

I had a similar issue occur with my MSM, though different ecu.

Are you able to slowly rev the motor past 4k to redline with light load?

what is normal?
also, are you saying the ms2 isn't plumbed with the vacuum line?
you're gonna have to learn how to post coherently or no one will help you. my brain hurts trying to understand that retarded drivel

Wow, that's harsh. You asked if my Rev Limiter was set to Coolant based and my options for Rev Limit in TS are Normal or Coolant based, no Progressive and it's presently set to Normal.

Thought I was pretty clear that I had removed my boost gauge and used the line for the MS2 so, yes, it has a vacuum line.

I had also quoted the last poster there about pots which I don't have, sorry if that was not "coherent" or seemed "retarded" to you.

Lowest AFR number I see is 10.5 and that was holding it at 4000 full throttle.

Even part throttle light load downhill it won't rev.

Thanks

That's because you didn't properly multi-quote the previous question, and it looked like part of your answer. I fixed it.

I'm having a similar problem with an MS2e and MSM, we've solved it by flipping the key off and back on, to power cycle the unit. It works perfectly after that, we haven't figured out why it does it yet.

VTCS! Unplugged the solenoid, car runs amazingly well. Rev has a setting in firmware but was off in the basemap.
Thanks to whoever wrote this;
