I tuned my idle to 13-13.5:1 AFR according to the LC-1. Then after a 15 min cooldown (CLT still above 170 F, though), I re-started and the LC-1 started showing 14 to 15 numbers initially, then after a couple of mins of idling like that, it was right back to 13-13.5.

So the question is, does it take that long for the LC-1 to heat the sensor? I've done both the heater and the free-air calibration exactly as per the manual. All wiring is as per the manual, except that the heater ground (blue) goes to the tab below the clutch master, and signal ground (white) goes to ECU ground on the passenger side of the engine block.

Should I do a complete re-calibration just to make sure? I dont want my VE map to be all wrong after spending a few hours tuning it.

when in doubt, recalibrate. it's probably fine, though a "couple minutes" sounds a little long to me.

you pick up a new manifold yet? :-P

The manual indicates the warmup time is only like 30 seconds. If you plug the LC1 into your laptop and open up LMLogViewer it'll actually show you the warmup cycle.

I'd try and recalibrate it too, just to be sure.

Do you have the LED installed? It blinks until it is done warming up.

its done heating once it starts displaying AFR. which is about 8-10secs.

what you are probably experiencing is heatsoak, which leans you out. you can up your AIT based corrections to richen the mixture when this happens. next time, take note of the AIT, it's probably >100°F

Thats probably it, heatsoak. You're right scott, the IAT was around 115 F at the time. Where are the IAT correction settings?

The LED is steady after about 10-15 seconds. Will hook up LM prog to see what its doing.

Go to advanced settings. Then Coolant Based Density, then the options menu. Then set it to IAT based correction. (my wording might be off). That's it, just add fuel based on temp. Add like 20% at 120* and scale it down from there to like 80* or w/e you feel like. Works a charm.
