Default MS\\ fans and AC issue

I was trying to get my AC working and after confirming all oem sensors were working and the system is charged I set about trying to figure it out.

I went through my ms adapter wiring harness and found the black wire brain puts in to join the two pins after the diode (sorry for my un-technical explanation) was off one of the pins. I reattached it and nada, although since the fan trigger wire came off I could control the fans with the ac switch. Also the diode has no resistance and the plastic of the receptacle behind it is brown from heat (soldering I hope).

I then thinking the relays were the problem jumpered the relays (as per the pathway diagram on them), that did nothing but when they were put back my fans don't work.

They will work fine if the afore mentioned little black wire goes from the closest "ac pin" to the regular fan pins to another harness ground but don't seem to work without this. Even using the ac button now doesn't start them. Their relay is fine and no blown fuses.

Ideas?

I just finished this circuit. Are you using an MS2? I assume you pulled the stock ECU out and are doing a standalong configuration. Did you enable the output in tunerstudio?

If you want to test the fans operation, open your diagnostics connector and jump TFA and GND.

I'm on ms1 and I know the fans work, with the factory ecu the cycle properly. Until yesterday I had been driving the car standalone with proper fan function.

I get continuity through the entire compressor path (from the switch to the ecu) except I get no voltage at the input (GRN/RED wire) of the under dash temp sensor (first step after the diode after the ac light).

I didn't mention that I had found a burned up pin in the connector by the ac relays. The only burned pin was the constant hot (blue/ yellow) and I had already bypassed the connector.

Anyways my fans don't work with MS unless I attach the end of the black ac jumper wire to a pin within 3 spaces of the fp wire, although my MT says it's properly cycling the fan output.

My harness is wired as the above diagram shows and it all works properly (except sending power from the ac switch to the ac temp sensor) with the factory ecu.

burned pin. hmm.. When you test the voltage out the ms harness do you get anything? Maybe the transistor that drives it is blown out. Did you run a separate transistor or do it off the middle LED's?

The MS was built by braineack and it uses the middle led to indicate fan on.
