Default Multiple maps MSPNP?

I haven't really been able to find a good answer with a search. Can the mspnp store multiple maps(pump and race gas) and if so can it be set up to switch them with a toggle like an xede? I am not interested in an on the fly switching of maps, but just don't want to have to tote my laptop everywhere to load different maps.

Cheers,

Joey

Yes you can have two fuel and two ignition maps that can be switched with a seperate circuit and toggle switch.
Go check it out at www.megamanual.com

Edit: Here's the link http://www.msextra.com/manuals/MS_Ex....htm#mapswitch

The switchable maps is exactly how you facilitate extra fueling with NOS activation

Would it be possible to use this like a valet switch? I was thinking that when I install my MS I would have a separate map to prevent people from being stupid with my car if I leave it at a valet or at a shop. Would it be possible to limit RPM or something of the sort

I have a toggle switch i wanna wire into my boost solenoid ground. when off I'll get wastegate pressures only, as the solenoid fails open when no power. If i want full boost agian I can just flip the switch.

It might be possible to edit the rev limit with a palm. That way you could keep the palm in the car, then when you wanted to valet you could just set the rev limiter to 4k rpm. Wouldn't be all that hard, beats carrying a laptop. As for having a switch that adjusted your rev limit, MSnSE doesn't have that capability.

It's definitely possible, and quite easy. Neat idea for a valet, I like it!

Its standard hardware is not set up for table switching, but it can be added with the mods covered. You could even route it out the center connector if you like to make adding the switch easier.

correct me if im wrong but i think this would work:
if you dont use your launch control, you could just wire it up so that the secondary rev limiter is on whenever you flip a switch, so the ms thinks that the clutch is down.

That could work if you want a valet mode.

this is a good idea if you actually valet. I have a buddy who lost his E63 a month ago from valet joyriding. The police report claims the car was going 155, which means they opened it up and sat it on the speed limiter before driving off the side of a bridge, into a building.

I never found my sunglasses again.

Screw valet, i'll drop the girlfriend off, walk her in, go park the car and walk before I let someone drive the miata.
If we want valet, we take her car, no one messes with the protege.
