Default Maps Library for the MS

Greetings,

I was looking in this board for something like a maps library for the MS. But I didn't find one to be honest (and I used the search looking for the words maps library).

I think it will be great to create a maps library to share to the community. Obviously it will be a big bold warning reminder that use of the maps at your own risk and no one will be responsible for your engine if it blows to pieces.

For me the purpose is for reference only.

Regards.

For example the dead time of the injectors, boost solenoid settings, trigger and ignitions setups settings to name a few.

In my case my map is for ID1000 injectors. Anyone can benefit for my tune because it is already setup the for those injectors in terms of deadtime, fuel_req and other fuel tables (idle, ve tables etc).

An MSQ without a file that goes along with it that lists all mods, jumpers etc will be a recipe for disaster.

I don't mind posting my MSQ, but to get where I am it's been a journey to say the least.

I am with you. My tune took me a while to get it perfect for all conditions almost like the stock OEM ECU. And I am still tweaking it.

But up to you if you going to post it or not.

If the moderators thinks it is a good idea please let us know to make a sticky and start posting maps. Otherwise I dont mind if you delete this post.

Agreed. With several variations of the ignition mods out there, for example, blindly using an MSQ from an ECU with a different spark output could fry your coils.

Case in point- I fried my MS3 this past Sunday by following the directions on a thread that was correct for someone who had made certain mods but I didn't.

$100 mistake, if I am lucky and can have the daughtercard rebuilt.
