Microsquirt v3 Ignition driver
Morning,
I am hoping somebody can give me some advice on a Microsquirt v3 installation. I am in the process of installing the Microsquirt in an mx5 1.8 engined kitcar. I am doing a complete rewire and not utilising the stock harness. I have installed toyota COP and am looking at the wiring. The actual pinout is well documented elsewhere and seems straight forward.
What I am not sure about is the various references, in the numerous write ups about the conversion, to 1k or 330ohm resistors on the Microsquirt ignition out.
As the unit is pre assembled is there a resistor factory fitted or would I need to do this externally. Its my understanding that the resistor is plumbed into the trigger. Is this in series or is it connected to the earth in a pull up fashion?

Disclaimer: while I have a good amount of experience with various MegaSquirt devices, I have never used a Microsquirt. Its schematic is quite different from all other members of the MS family.
That said, the documentation strongly implies, and the schematic supports, the assertion that the two IGN outputs in the Microsquirt are actively driven high (5v) by the CPU, and as such, no external pullup resistors should be necessary.

Gents, Could I pick your brain further if I may. The attached is my interpretation of the wiring instructions for the microsquirt. Can you see anything wrong with my understanding of the wiring instructions?
